Make your own reed diffuser using essential oils.
Each set includes one bamboo top and 4 reeds.
Ideal for use in the bathroom or toilet, for example.
After experimenting with many different recipes, our basic recipe (for a 10 ml bottle) is as follows:
- Fill approximately 2/3 of your bottle with alcohol.
- Add approximately 20 drops of essential oil and stir with one of the reeds, ensuring that the essential oil and alcohol are thoroughly mixed.
- Top up the bottle with a neutral carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, and mix the entire blend thoroughly.
- Screw the bamboo top onto your bottle and place the fragrance reeds inside. After a few minutes, you can flip the reeds over to disperse the fragrance throughout the room.
Please note! The bamboo tops fit perfectly on your old/empty oil bottles of both 5 ml and 15 ml. Unfortunately, they are not suitable for roller bottles.
If you do not have any empty (oil) bottles, order separate bottles, such as the 5 ml or the 10 ml. Also available to combine with the 30 ml glass bottles. A 10 ml bottle is shown in the photo.

Reed Diffuser Neck & Rattan Fragrance Reeds for Essential Oil Bottles
Disperse essential oils directly from your essential oil bottles with this diffuser neck, which fits 5 ml and 15 ml bottles. The neck is made of bamboo wood and comes with rattan fragrance reeds.
Make fragrance dispersal easy and portable with this set – perfect for personal use or as a hostess gift. The packaging contains instructions and recipe suggestions.
You can use coconut oil as a carrier oil, but we also recommend a non-toxic diluent. This not only enhances the fragrance but also helps reduce the evaporation of your essential oils. Diluents and coconut oil can be easily ordered on the raw materials page.
Directions for use:
- Remove the cap and dropper from your essential oil bottles.
- Screw the diffuser neck onto the bottle and place the fragrance reeds in the bottle with your chosen essential oils/blend and carrier/diluent.
- Allow the fragrance to infuse for a few hours and flip the reeds occasionally to refresh the scent.
- Place your diffuser upright in the desired location.
