The benefits of almond oil
The almond tree originally comes from the western part of Central Asia. From Persia, the almond tree made its way to Greece via Egypt and was spread throughout the Mediterranean region by the Romans. The skin-care benefits of almond oil were already known back then, and the ancient Greeks and Romans also used it as a beauty product.
Sweet Almond Oil is a soothing oil suitable for all skin types, but it is especially beneficial for dry skin. The oil regulates your skin’s moisture levels and helps prevent skin aging thanks to its high content of vitamins A and E, leaving your skin wonderfully soft and supple.
Because Sweet Almond Oil absorbs well and does not leave a greasy layer on your skin, it is also a wonderful massage oil, optionally blended with a few drops of essential oil. The oil stimulates circulation and nourishes your hair. Because it is so gentle, Sweet Almond Oil is also ideal for removing (eye) makeup.
Our almond oil is cold-pressed and unrefined, preserving its vitamins, minerals and nourishing essential fatty acids!
The many uses of almond oil
Almond oil is a real all-rounder and an essential addition to your skincare products. We recommend applying a thin layer of oil to your skin after showering or cleansing. To help prevent (premature) skin aging, massage a little oil into your face after showering or cleansing and let it absorb thoroughly. Massage a little oil into your skin wherever needed.
To remove (waterproof) makeup, apply a little almond oil to a cotton pad and gently remove your makeup. Its gentle nature makes almond oil ideal for use around the eyes.
To strengthen your hair and give it more shine, apply a little almond oil to damp hair and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo as usual.
