Glycerine - the thirst-quencher for your skin
Glycerine is a special product. It is obtained from rapeseed oil, but is soluble in water. Our glycerine has a purity of 99.5%. The other 0.5% consists of water. It has no scent or colour and is therefore easy to mix with other ingredients. The glycerine is hypoallergenic, making it suitable for almost every skin type.
Glycerine attracts moisture from its surroundings and retains it, which greatly helps to hydrate your skin. An essential ingredient for every skin type!
Glycerine also has the special property of stimulating skin cells to repair themselves. Glycerine helps to achieve smoother, softer skin.
How do you use glycerine?
It is important to always mix glycerine with enough water. If you add too little water to glycerine, it can have the opposite effect and actually dry out the skin. Mix it in a ratio of at least 1:4 (1 part glycerine with 4 parts water).
A wonderful recipe for a super hydrating face or body spray is, for example, 10% glycerine with 90% Rose Water or aloe vera juice.
You can also mix a few drops of glycerine into your DIY shampoo for extra hydrated hair!
